Calkins House

Located on Highway 64 in the heart of Wyoming, the Calkins House features a doctor’s office and other period items.

Edinburgh Pioneer Village

A step back in time that showcases historic log buildings and the Jones County Historic Museum.  The Edinburgh Historical group hosts several events at the village throughout the year.

Hale Bridge

Connecting the Wapsipinicon State Park to Shaw Road in Anamosa, the Hale Bridge is a historic multi span bowstring truss bridge.  It was relocated to Anamosa from Hale, IA in 2006.  The moving of the bridge was featured on the T.V. show Mega Movers on the History Channel.

9/11 Memorial

The 9/11 Memorial is located in Monticello at 201 E. South St. The memorial is made of a piece of twisted metal from ground zero.

Stone City

Stone City was the location of Grant Wood’s, famous Iowa artist, Art Colony in 1932 and 1933.  The signature stone buildings, art history, General Store Pub, and the quarry make this hamlet a mecca for visitors.
